Message from the Artist: We can carry the child within us, she who is connected to us, fused. They have matching scars, in this case a star. The scars we have as children continue on in us, but they can be beautiful, too. There is visible texture in this piece because none of us escape childhood as perfectly smooth beings. Chamomile flowers represent gentle healing and calm growth. They blend together and are similar, connected by a cord of love. The child looks at us, awakened while the woman is in meditation.

FRAMING: For paper prints, use a frame that matches the size of your print if you want the image to go right to the edges. The 1/8” margin will be hidden behind the frame. Prefer some space between art and frame? Choose a larger frame with a window mat that fits the print size. For example, a 16x16 inch frame with a 12x12 inch mat, or a 12x12 inch frame with an 8x8 inch mat. Simple and beautiful!
