Tuck - Baby On Dad's Chest Warm Art Print
Message from the Artist: My paintings are about skin and bodies and the way 2+ figures can mesh, fold and tuck together. The way skin touches skin, color bounces, essences intertwine – but because these are not lone nudes, I see a reason to ask myself why they would be bare naked – together?
This painting fills me with playful electricity. The enlarged hand is purposeful – a recent collector planted a seed with the idea of a Daddy’s large hand being able to hold a child forever, no matter how they grow. This has been in my head for months, and now comes out subconsciously in Tuck. Thanks, Matt.
This painting is in the collection of Alma Midwifery, Portland, Oregon.
