There is comfort in having found a similar soul: a wild one who also has wings. She is currently content, but, knows her future is bright, and she will someday fly – you can see it in her hair and the sparkly potential in her eyes.

The baby leans on her for protection, and so does the owl. Someday, in her own time, this girl will spread her wings and leave the shelter of the nest, making her way through her own spacious world. But in the meantime, she will greet nature’s little ones – providing a safe place for them to alight.

FRAMING: For paper prints, use a frame that matches the size of your print if you want the image to go right to the edges. The 1/8” margin will be hidden behind the frame. Prefer some space between art and frame? Choose a larger frame with a window mat that fits the print size. For example, a 16x16 inch frame with a 12x12 inch mat, or a 12x12 inch frame with an 8x8 inch mat. Simple and beautiful!
