A Beautiful Evolution: Art Evolves & We Do, Too ♥

I’m excited to share a refreshed version of one of my existing paintings, Body Of Life ~ one that many of you know and love from the Graceful Nature Collection.

 

After revisiting this piece and re-connecting with my reason for creating her, I felt inspired to make a subtle change: She now wears a light blouse, a gentle touch of modesty that adds intimacy and tenderness. She has a story, go here to read it.

 

And one subtle changed led to several more, can you SPOT them? (see her BEFORE below)!

 

These small edits feel meaningful: a way of offering her a little more privacy and presence, while also giving the work a new dimension and texture. It’s still the same figure, the same motherly love, the same energy, but now with a little something extra ♥

This morning, I stepped into the sun to drop an order in the mailbox, and something about the light made everything feel full of possibility. It brought a sense of potential to the things I've been unsure about and the projects I've been working on. For a short moment, I felt a surge of hope, a reminder that each day is an opportunity to explore and figure things out. That felt nice, so I picked a sprig of Jasmine off my giant plant, and bottled it at my desk; an aromatic gift that has lasted all day ♥
