This week I made several embellished stretched canvas prints for my collectors ~ and I am loving creating them more all the time. 

 

Creating a one-of-a-kind canvas print by personalizing it with paint, allows me to change hair and/or eye colors, even add longer hair, glasses or facial hair!

 

What if YOU pick a print, and you LOVE it, but it isn't quite perfect in regard to honoring your family's coloring, so I enhanced it with my paints and brushes, JUST for you!? Right here in my studio :)

 

You'd then have a one-of-a-kind gorgeous piece of artwork that arrives ready to hang on a nail, and ready to GLOW in your home.

How is a customized stretched canvas print 
different from an original custom painting on canvas?

A custom original painting is created from scratch, starting with a blank white canvas, and using your family photos as inspiration. I create a sketch on paper first to show the layout of the figures, and once you've approved the sketch, I create with my paintings and brushes, in many many layers, onto the canvas. Your original painting on canvas becomes a multi-layered, textured wonderland of paint and emotion and beautiful intentions :)

 

A stretched canvas print with embellishments starts with a PRINT on canvas. A print created from a photo made of one of the paintings I have already made in the past. Find prints in my shop. I then use my paints and brushes to add color accents, texture and uniqueness to your canvas print, but the whole canvas is not covered with paint, just portions of the print. Your canvas print will be one-of-a-kind, as no print is ever embellished with EXACTLY the same brushstrokes in the same spots!
