Inspiration from Jurgen Wolff: If your days seem to disappear, start a “done” list to find out where they go.
I use a to-do list, daily, but things come up that aren’t on the list. At the end of busy days I wonder where the time went… Not very many of the items on my list have been crossed off, what happened? One helpful tool is the “done” list. It’s exactly what the name suggests: a list of the things you do, jotted down as you complete them.
If you look at your to-do and done lists after a few days, you’ll probably come to one of these conclusions:
- You’re letting yourself be distracted by too many not very important things (these won’t be on your to-do list but will be on your done list).
- You’re forgetting to put important things on your to-do list (again, these will show up on your done list).
If your time seems to vanish, try keeping a done list for a few days and then see which of the two conclusion above applies to your situation. I hope this helps you!
Today, I have another mermaid painting to share with you: Deepest Breath.
It is my joy to have a mini painting in process in the studio each week ~ a little emotion, a little gift. I will share my original mini painting each week on Thursday mornings ~ I am also, always, creating larger original paintings to offer in the Online Studio Shop, as well as commissioned paintings for clients (pre-sold).
This week’s new original painting, Deepest Breath is a 10×10″ original painting on canvas for $255. She’ll arrive with a stack of free art cards, and if you use the coupon code SHIPLOVE, you’ll get free global shipping (for a limited time)
There is only ONE original of each painting, but prints of Deepest Breath are available here.
Thank you for everything, have a WONDERFUL day! Wanna chat live on Facebook? I’ll see you there.
Love & Sincerely, Katie
