The ascent, the effort, the beauty of the path... ♥

I’ve been creating prints of Live To Tell The Tale for buyers recently, and getting to look at her over and over, and packaging up the prints has fired me up. I’m very inspired by this new painting, and I know that I am not the only one, as more than one person wanted to snag the original. 

 

We can relate to the ascent, the effort, the struggle of the daily climb, the potential hidden on the path, and the memories we leave behind with others…

 

I have been feeling like I need that stone beneath my brushes again, that texture; the grass and the colors, I need the creation of the climb and the depth. I need the sky and the wild… plus, I always love these tall canvases!

 

So the second painting in this little series-within-a-collection, is in the works. Our woman is going to be higher this time ~ resting after a weary climb. Perched to enjoy the view below and the wonder of what lies ahead.
