Earlier this week I started the 10th painting in the Mindful Mothering Project (MMP). The MMP invites you to submit photos that may inspire a brand new painting. Interested? Share your moments, and swirl your beauty into the fertile soil from which these intimate motherhood paintings sprout.
The mama whose photo is chosen gets a free 12×12″ print of the finished piece.
The photo that inspired me this week was one submitted by Rachael. This photo felt magical to me ~ made me think of angels and fairies and swirling colors of sky… thank you Rachael
And here is the painting in process: (this piece is a 10×10″ original on canvas and is NOT pre-sold. She will be available to the first mama who claims her) she’s not quite done yet. Watch her progress on Facebook. I’ve named this piece SWEET EARTH. In her I see flowing waters and warm soil…
The new mini original painting for this week is called Sweet Sky, she is the 108th painting in the Everyday Connection Collection.
Sweet Sky, the original painting has SOLD, because a collector who saw her on Facebook (before she was completely done) asked to claim her. YOU can do this too… if you ever see a piece in process (I post on Facebook and Instagram) and feel a connection, don’t hesitate to ask if you can snag her. I’ll let you know if someone else has already done so, or if the piece is a commissioned piece.
First Come First Served is how it has to be with these mini original paintings
You may choose archival paper and stretched canvas prints of Sweet Sky, here.
I have other lovely, ready-to-ship and ready-to-hang original paintings in the Online Studio Shop, check them out here. Don’t forget that you are stacking-up Reward Points with every purchase, and when you get to 30 points you will have $30 to spend in the shop, for free.
Find additional, available original, one-of-a-kind paintings here.
Thank you for everything, have a WONDERFUL day. Wanna chat live on Facebook? I’ll see you there.
Love & Sincerely, Katie
