Silent Story, today's drawings, Kickstarter - Keep Going

DIVINE. That is the word that twinkles on the edge of my mind as I’m working on paintings of The Seeker for my Silent Story 

 

I've shared some of Silent Story through email, Join me in my private group to follow along more closely.

 

I don’t know if this upcoming book will make a mark on the world, I don’t know if more than just my collectors will touch this book, or how many will FEEL the message that The Seeker has to share. But I know that I am doing MY part. I’m DOING it. I’m moving forward every day, I’m answering the call, and it feels DIVINE.

 

My divine job right now is to make my Silent Story book happen.

 

This project is ALWAYS on my mind, I see my Seeker everywhere and in everyone. She is the core heart and spirit of us, the emotional and vulnerable being that is not hidden by our hairstyles, body flub, clothing choices, make-up, accessories... 

 

Here are the sketches that I jumped from bed this morning to capture:

 

Social Media (and sending emails like this one) can make us feel lost and isolated (I’m CERTAIN it is supposed to do the opposite). We put something out there that we’ve spent a lot of time and heart on… and…. NOTHING. Or nearly nothing.

We wonder if what we are doing matters. If what we are saying even resonates with others. BUT… I remind myself almost daily that I have no control over what happens AFTER I put something out. I have only the responsibility to create my art, put bits of it out into this digital world, and then MOVE ON. Back to the easel or the workbench.

For YOU, it might be back to YOUR book, back to the kitchen, back to your career that either MOVES you or not. Back to the family, the business, the workout.

 

You don’t have power, either, over what people do with what you put out there. Your job is to do YOUR work, share a bit, and then to move on – BACK to your divine calling.
