A Silent Story ~ book TWO ♥ Loving & Letting Go

In 2022, with my collectors and private community by my side and cheering me on with kind words and joy, I concepted, created and published A Silent Story of Heartbreak & Hope. The Seeker entered the world, shared with us the grief of a friendship break-up, and began touching hearts. And she's been doing so, ever since.

 

A Silent Story of Heartbreak & Hope is a hold-able journey through loneliness and confusion, heartbreak and silence... ending with renewed hope, companionship and contentment. There is even an awesome audio visual version where I show you ALL the easter eggs!

 

And now… I am working on 

the SECOND book in the 

A Silent Story series

I'm currently over 20 paintings into A Silent Story of Loving & Letting Go. This book is dedicated to the dreaming of, the arrival of, the cherishing of, the challenges of, and the journey of accompanying a child through their growing up years. 

 

The book is not gender-specific or detailed about how the baby was carried or birthed (I am not painting The Seeker pregnant, in other words, because that just seems weird, ha ha!).

My intention is for the creative interpretation of manifesting and guiding a child, to touch hearts in a variety of family situations. Once again, the book is focused on The Seeker's journey, this time accompanied by a growing child ♥♥

 

I’m absolutely thrilled to be working on this project. I began it directly after finishing the first book, thinking that my son was going off to college about 6 hours away.

 

But then… he changed his mind and stayed in a local University. 

 

I felt that my integrity would be

 questioned if I continued...

 

...continued creating paintings elaborating on the ‘leaving’ of the grown child, and the emotions that come along with it. If I had NOT "been there" and FELT it myself.

 

So, I tabled the project 

and focused on many heartfelt pieces 

over the last 2.5 years, 

but NEVER was Silent Story 

(and the little Seeker) completely out of my mind.

 

But now… it’s time. The creation of this book will be fed by my emotions, will comfort my heart, and will be a solace and accompaniment to the months ahead that involve my child leaving the nest. And because many of my collectors have children similar ages as my own, I believe I will be in good company.
