9th Annual Painting On Purpose - Mary's Place, Seattle, WA

The 9th Annual Painting On Purpose is coming together nicely!
You can watch her daily/weekly progress in my Instagram Stories

And some of it right here:

The PURPOSE for Painting On Purpose is to give ALL of the money from the sale of an original painting, each year, to an organization that benefits mothers and/or children. Just one of the reasons I'm grateful for your orders (mermaids, anyone?) throughout the year :)

So far, this project has allowed me to give $6756 to 8 different organizations, since 2015. When this new painting sells, the buyer of the painting and I will be teaming up to give $460 to Mary's Place in Seattle, Washington, whose goal is that No Child Sleeps Outside.

A Message From Mary's Place ~ www.marysplaceseattle.org
Across five emergency family shelters in King County, we keep families together, inside, and safe when they have no place else to go, providing resources, housing and employment services, community, and hope.
Each day, our housing team works with families to address barriers and empower parents to build family stability, secure housing, and prepare for employment. Kids are connected with schools, participate in fun and enriching activities, and go on outings and adventures in Kids Club.

This painting will be released February 6th, which is my Grandma Neva's 100th birthday!!

The Painting On Purpose project is inspired by my Grandma Neva.
