In truth, she is in my studio and COMPLETE ♥ I’m going to keep her secret until Release Day on February 6, BUT I’m going to give my Facebook Community an early reveal of the finished piece, and the first opportunity to reserve her. Join us there!
The PURPOSE for Painting On Purpose is to give ALL of the money from the sale of an original painting, each year, to an organization that benefits mothers and/or children. This project was inspired by my Grandma Neva, who will turn 99(!) on the day this painting is released (February 6).
So far, this project has allowed me to give $5861 to 7 different organizations, since 2015. When this new painting sells, the buyer of the painting and I will be teaming up to give $895 to Back To Healing.
I have chosen Back To Healing for a very special reason. My son has scoliosis and is having spinal fusion surgery on February 14. My heart is worried and heavy and confident and trusting.
♥ Back To Healing is a non-profit with the mission to improve the quality of life of individuals affected by scoliosis, all over the world. This organization also provides FREE mental health, medical & surgical care for children living with severe scoliosis in South America, Africa and the Caribbean. Learn more.
