Painting On Purpose – Sea Of Possibility has SOLD – Open House Ministries – Event This Weekend!
Posted by katie berggren on
Sea Of Possibility is the 6th Annual Painting On Purpose painting: YOU helped me choose the sketch and I chose Open House Ministries as the organization to receive the funds from the sale of this original painting ($715).
YOU followed along with the process of this painting on my Instagram and Facebook pages, and gave your kind support and feedback. THANK YOU!!
This original painting was claimed by one of my loyal lovely collectors before she was even complete – if you ever see a piece in process that is for YOU, don’t hesitate to contact me. Depending upon the stage of completion the painting is in, I may even be able to customize hair and eye colors. Don’t be afraid to ask.
I will very soon be giving $715.00 to Open House Ministries (stay tuned for photos). Thank YOU for following along!!
Open House Ministries is a family shelter in my town in Washington State, USA, housing 100+ homeless residents per night. More than half of their residents are homeless children. Open House Ministries is more than a shelter, they walk alongside families as they rebuild their lives, with counseling, job training, childcare and education. Learn more here.
So far, counting this year, Painting On Purpose (& my wonderful collectors!) has allowed me to give $4,966 to six different organizations benefitting mothers and children.
See ALL the paintings and ALL the organizations.
I started POP in 2015, inspired by my sweet Grandma Neva who turned 92 on the release of the first painting, and she turns 97 TODAY!!!
She is a sweet & spicy, amazing woman.
Event THIS Weekend!
Join me and my fellow artists and musicians for Washougal Love Fest! Saturday February 8th, 2020 10am – 3pm at the Black Pearl On The Columbia: 56 S. 1st Street, Washougal, Washington 98671
Come and see 40 local artists offering their handmade creations! I’m going to have framed mini prints, unframed prints, pendant necklaces, and more!
The event will have live music, kids crafts, treats and warm drinks. This event is free and family friendly. We ask that you bring a can (or more!) of food to donate to the Clark County Food Bank.
There will be special appearances by some local celebrities and even some performance art fun for the whole family.
Have a wonderful day!
Love & Sincerely, Katie
