monochromatic paintings, it all started with an egg carton

last week I wrote about how my fave eggs inspired me to create some monochromatic (one color) paintings… these have been SO much fun, I’ve really enjoyed working on them. Not an hour goes by in my waking day that I am not thinking (at least for a moment) of working on these pieces (or just painting, in general)

I’m working on painting #4 today (in reds).

Below is the packaging that inspired me AND the monochromatic (browns & creams) painting that started this journey.

Also, the 2nd and 3rd painting, and then the fourth, still in process.
