Giving $658 ♥ Vault Art! Collection Review #10
KATIE BERGGRENsee last week's collection review in this series
Two quick deets:
1 ~ Starting soon, I’ll be releasing one From The Vault print every day for 10 days – each with a limited series of ONLY (5) 8x8 inch Embellished Prints on thick luscious velvet paper; signed and ready to frame. Stay tuned for those!
2 ~ Calendar pre-orders are running for only another couple weeks, then they will close. Maybe it seems early, but I’m planning to print just the right amount based on purchases. While at the same time determining if I want to offer calendars for 2027... Many of my collectors have moved to digitally organizing their months. (not me, though, I’m still all pencil on paper)
This is the 10th email in my Collection Review Series!
One thing this 10-week journey has shown me (and I hope you have enjoyed it, too) is that I am easily inspired by past paintings, and have had to rein in my urges to start a new body of work every week!
Other things DO need to be done, ha ha! In the studio I am currently working on some special custom pieces and am preparing to begin a beautiful new book.
This week I want to draw attention to a small body of work that gave $658 to 11 different organizations such as Angel Babies, Feeding Tube Awareness, Jardin De Los Ninos, Together We Cope, and BabySteps Foundation.
The Summer Art Auction Collection of 2021 ~ see them all here!
These paintings were released auction-style on Instagram in summer of 2021, and 50% of the proceeds from each piece went to a charity of the buyer’s choice. I really enjoyed that. I think I’ll do that again – what do YOU think?
What about a Silent Auction through email? :)
This is a testy time for small businesses and artists, from what I can see and feel, so we are getting creative on how to place our work in front of eyes AND hopefully find opportunities to give back! PLUS, why not have some fun!?
Thank you for being here,
Love & Sincerely, Katie
