Fresh, in process ♥ a new Daylight Dream

A new piece is in the works for the Daylight Dreams Collection ~ to dovetail right into the little stone series. A sister for Live To Tell The Tale and Ascend Beyond Fear.

 

 

 

 

With these pieces I'm reflecting on our shared need to keep moving forward, despite the hurdles (and sticky spots) in our path. We climb over obstacles, we lift ourselves upward, each of us navigating and seeing the journey differently. Every step, choice, and encounter leads us to new growth and possibility... and still we climb. Even though we are tired.

 

Along the way, challenges and triumphs become threads that weave into the substance of our lives. In moving forward, we leave behind our essence, our good deeds, our love and gifts of nurturing. Treasures to help light the way for those who also travel.

 

With this newest painting, I first sketched out many paths for her in the distance (to me, no path would imply she had no future) - but then decided that she WOULD find HER ONE PATH. So that is how it is working out so far. I'm always so excited to work on this piece - she ignites the studio!

 

 

These new stone paintings feel like a friendly path from within the Daylight Dreams Collection. For instance, How Wonder Glows feels like one stopping point along the way; a moment to sit in the glow and find the magic in one solo instance. To breathe and to wonder... before beginning again.

 

 

How Wonder Glows - Currently Available

 

The glow exists, we just have to find it, nestled amongst life’s textures and grooves. Delicate snow-like lines embrace this place of solitude and strength. She has come to this place to settle, to wonder; her lived experiences, or perhaps coming adventures, exist in the distance.

 

An original 10x20 inch painting on deep canvas. The edges of the canvas are 1.5 inches deep. The edges of the painting are painted dark brown and all painted surfaces are varnished with UV Protectant Varnish. The painting is wired and ready to hang, right out of the box. Signed on the front ~ titled, dated and autographed on the back.

 

This Original Painting will be shipped to her new home in a sturdy shipping box, wrapped securely, with a gift of a stack of free art greeting cards.
