She had some early ugly duckling stages as I grappled with her purpose ~ but Trio is complete now, and I love her.
Oh the power of time and focus, and seeing a painting for what it is truly meant to be.
There are a lot of layers of paint on this piece, and I suppose if I had planned more intensely at the beginning, this piece wouldn’t have required the same amount of intensity and time ~ but, hey, where’s the fun in that?!

I completely took Thursday off this week ~ to be with my son who wasn’t feeling 100% (but really not feeling too bad, you know, but he missed school anyway) and we had a great, close day together. I LOVED taking a break from work to play legos, watch pink panther and grocery shop with my little man.
But SOON, I have some new GIVING BAGS to share with you ~ these are bags containing a variety of gifty things to make the giving season more fun: magnets, buttons, a charm, 2 mini books ~ cards, holiday cards… with an original 5×5 pen & ink sketch thrown in, just for fun
