Summer is cruising along, and bringing with it lots of color. I am so inspired by color ~ a leaf on the ground, a car driving by, someone’s hair! Playing with color on canvas seems to heal my soul, to bring peace to anxiety and purpose to dreariness. I feel so thankful.
A couple nights ago, anxiety had me tossing and turning til the wee hours… slipping from the sheets to the studio and ‘discovering’ Essence on a chunky mini canvas brought peace to my mind – and sleep, finally.
Here is Essence, she really feels like the essence of new motherhood: dozing with a warm baby nestled close, finding nourishment.
