I’ll hold you in my heart, your flicker, your smile like my own. Wherever I go, especially in nature, your glow stays close. My heart will hold you always, as I held your hand on your final day. Love drives us, respect steadies us, devotion keeps us reaching, pulling every essence from life, and from moments with those we love. 

 

May we move through life dancing from one opportunity to the next, gripping the tail of an earnest sense of adventure. But may we also be still, to steep ourselves in quiet, in remembrance, in solitude. To gather from our journey the beings that love us and the experiences that continue to shape who we are.

Live To Tell The Tale

We know this trek. We’ve all climbed these steps, unsure of what lies above; muscles ache and conviction wobbles, yet we keep moving, one foot after the other. We wonder if the top will ever come; surely some lush freshness awaits there, something worth telling.

 

We blend in as we climb, just another ambler among many, hoping our journey might be recognized by someone not too hurried to notice, honored by one willing to pause. Proof of persistence rather than perfection.

 

She leaves traces as she rises, a quiet imprint of herself pressed into the path, something to touch the earth and for others who come next to find. Because reaching the top is not enough; it is what we bring back, and what we leave behind, that gives the climb its meaning.

 

 

How Wonder Glows - Currently Available

 

The glow exists, we just have to find it, nestled amongst life’s textures and grooves. Delicate snow-like lines embrace this place of solitude and strength. She has come to this place to settle, to wonder, bringing her matching textures; her lived experience exists in the distance behind her.

 

 

Familiar Like Magic - Currently Available

 

There is a place we can go to when everything becomes too much. A destination inside, offering comfort and self-sovereignty, with no one to answer to and no obligations. Find that familiar place within yourself, float in your inner truth, then let the world outside rise to meet you, shifting your surroundings to match the magic of your soul.

 

 

"Daylight Dreams" reflects the purpose of this collection of paintings: moments held in the heart and memory, enchanting and just out of grasp. We linger in their light, longing, unable to enter the spaces where reality falls into fantasy. 

 

I now have 3 delicious new blank canvases in my studio - and I'm aching to jump into them! I wonder what the future holds...
