Chocolate Chip Cookies ~ sans the white and brown sugar

I’m always trying to put a new spin on baked goods, because I just seem to have a problem adding that white (or brown) stuff to the bowl. But I love honey. I gave these a spin today, and they are darn good I took a recipe off the Ghirardelli package, and modified it to my whims.

cookies without sugar

2 ¼ C whole wheat organic flour

1 tsp baking soda

¾ C chia seeds (Bob;s Red Mill is my fave brand)

½ tsp salt

1 C of melted organic butter

2 big globs of raw honey

½ C organic almond milk

2 tsp real vanilla extract

2 eggs

1 C of chocolate chips (I mixed white and dark)

Preheat oven to 375F. Stir flour and soda, seeds & salt. Beat butter, honey and eggs, vanilla. Put dry with wet and add chocolate chips. Drop tablespoons on ungreased cookie sheet ~ 9-11 minutes.

Enjoy!

Love, Katie
