2 In Process ♥ Self-Acceptance

I have two new pieces in process, beautifully textured and singing to my heart ~ and they both fit lovingly into the Daylight Dreams Collection. 

 

 

As time goes by, we try to find time for the things that matter to us in each day. 

 

I think it is important to have certain footholds that we aim for each day. It's so easy to lose ourselves in the busyness, the drama, the stories.

 

One of my footholds is painting - and though I no longer make it happen EVERY SINGLE DAY, putting brush to canvas daily is something I strive for. More of my footholds are walking with my husband, reading, writing and lifting weights (super low key), as well as having dinner together every night, unless impossible.

We most likely don't achieve everything, and on days that we don't, we can accomplish self-acceptance. Which is also important ♥

 

 

(I dream back to the days when my footholds were reading to my kids at night, making their lunches, snuggling. My how things change as the kiddos grow ♥)
