My printer delivered a sample of A Silent Story. I had to sit down, otherwise I thought I'd fall down :) Watch a short video featuring the unbound sample.

 

In the beginning, I had envisioned this 100-page book being thick and chunky. And we were heading that way when I was given this decision:

 

a) THICKER uncoated pages with less-impressive print quality, or

b) Satin-coated pages that have GORGEOUS print quality, but are less thick

You can probably guess which route I went. I gave up that big chunky feel for a book with over 90 art-print-quality pages. Quality wins. I spent nearly three years creating these paintings and you deserve to have them in INCREDIBLE quality.

I won't lie, though, I had trouble letting go of that 'chunky book' vision that I'd been holding onto for years.

The printed A Silent Story book is smooth and heavy with satiny high-quality pages. When I hold the book in my hands, I feel quality and the devotion that went into its creation and printing.
