The Mermaids of 2023. I have been floating and paddling in peaceful, thoughtful waters over the last several months, and have brought back with me these women and mothers, new friends pulled from an unexplored shore... it has been joyful creation.
I Am Here. The tiny one is welcome as a sitting companion, and their words are valued. The mermaid mother leans toward the little voice and closes her eyes to take in the message. This child doesn't long for their mother, but instead feels only confidence that mama is here.
