Love Despite Flaws - Little Girl and Lion Art Print
Message from the Artist: Can we know the layout of the intricacies of our spirits? All the pieces? We have our soft, we have our rough, we have our fierce and we have our indifference. We have weaknesses, addictions, break downs.
There is only so much we can do to hide or change the parts of us that are embedded deep, planted at childhood, and unknowingly nurtured. Perhaps acceptance is the best plan of attack?
Maybe embracing the intensity that sometimes gets away from us and focusing on being real, authentic, primal, and flawed souls… a real dimensional human who has faults and sensitivities, wounds, and soft spots. Rock hard moments of not budging, loose tendencies to go with the flow. Deny or hide them and suffer later.
Let us accept the sensitive beast within us and love it, and nurture the inner beauty, too. We will find people to surround ourselves with who love us despite our broken parts, our deep wounds. We will also find those who can’t handle it, who are threatened by our true selves.
We will, at times, be abandoned, disliked, tossed away. We will feel broken, but we must repair ourselves. We will survive. Keep acceptance on your mind, keep your heart on your sleeve. Stay true, speak truth, create no purposeful wounds, and offer love despite flaws. May this be artwork to soothe your soul and brighten your days, reminding you that you are not alone, and you are beautiful in your flaws.
