Inktober - Your 2022 Art Calendar

I've been recording the process of my Inktober drawings this year, that has been interesting and different. It's fun telling a very short story with each drawing. You can hear the stories with each drawing here. This is my 5th year of Inktober. Sometimes I give the drawings away, sometimes (often) they turn into full paintings, sometimes (like last year) they inspire a WHOLE NEW collection of paintings!   I don't love this year's drawings, so far, but I'm just warming up :) Here is a video sampling of the first 5. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~     I have official photographs of...

Round Paintings & Prints

I have been so inspired by circles lately! And I just love seeing them all clustered together :) What has been inspiring YOU this week?   I have been creating a small series of one-of-a-kind original round paintings on 8x8 inch paper and releasing them first to my private KmBerggren Community on Facebook (you can ask to join, especially since something really neat is coming to that page this week!). I’ll remember I want to start a load, so I’ll run upstairs to see if there are any dirties up there. I’ll discover lights on – turn them off. Open blinds for plants  dust something with a piece of laundry…

Son Series ♥

I WILL have prints of these on my wall, as a celebration of the journey and a reminder of the TRUST I/we must have, and most importantly of the JOY that is coming up for my boys and YOUR boy(s)...

SON 🧡

I have a new series of paintings to share with you - something I've been obsessing over this week...   NOTE: My lovely Group Members at the KmBerggren Community Group on Facebook saw these first, and gave me some great feedback. Ask to join the group (where I show first glances at products and paintings), we'd love to have you!   I came home from errands the other morning, and as I walked in realizing my sons were still asleep upstairs, I thought about how big they are now. About how when they were little I had so many names...
